Case #050810: Residential Investigation, Greenville, GA

This case involves a single-family residence occupied by the wife, husband and small child.
The area is rural and historically has supported farming and plantation ownership. Also on the property are several barns and a workshop that will also be investigated.

The claims in this location include footsteps, clients being touched, voices and apparitions. The client feels a dominant male presence, a female and a child.

The CGPS members present for this investigation included : Kathy Porter, Ken Curley, Jason Baird, Janice Dobbs, Ben Clayton, Laura Clayton, Debbie Bird, Kim Durden , Jimmy Brown and Cindy Norwood.

Equipment used included a 4 camera IR DVR system, digital audio recorders , digital cameras, hand held video cameras, K2 meters, EMF gauges and thermometers.

The group split up to cover the 5 room primary residence, the barn and the workshop.  During the course of the evening there were several personal experiences for the investigators. Kim, Debbie and Kathy were in the child's playroom and heard several scratching noises along the wall as well as an audible voice heard by Debbie and Kathy. These were picked up by the digital audio recorders as well.  On the front porch, Ken heard footsteps follow behind him and Janice felt a cold touch on her back.  In the living room Debbie and Kathy heard several "tapping" noises in the corner near the kitchen doorway. These experiences were not picked up by audio however.

Evidence Review:  After review, several EVPs were picked up. No video or photographic evidence was obtained. All evidence was obtained in the primary residence, nothing unusual in the barn or workshop.

Reveal:  The audio evidence was presented to the clients by Ken Curley and Kathy Porter. The client accepted the evidence calmly and any questions were answered by Kathy and Ken.
The clients expressed satisfaction that their experiences were validated. The wife stated that while she is still aware of a male presence in the house, she no longer fears him. The clients were assured that at no time during the investigation did any of the team feel threatened.
The clients are encouraged to contact CGPS at any time they feel the need.

Conclusion: the residence is haunted by more than one entity. The audio evidence represented an intelligence as there were direct responses to questions. Three "voices" were heard, at least two males and one child. This supports what the clients believe to be present as well.

Photos from Residential Investigation, May 8, 2010.
