Case #092711: Residence, Monroe, GA
CGPS members present: Kathy Porter, Cindy Norwood, Laura Clayton, Ben Clayton, Alex Lopez, Debbie Bird, Jason Baird, Larissa McGibboney, LeAnn Boggs
Equipment used: IR camera system, digital still cameras, digital recorders, EMF gauges, K2 meters
This is newer two story residence with a finished basement. The clients have experienced shadow figures, voices, doors opening on their own, taps and bumps, as well as objects moving. The clients are collectors of antiques as well as having several personal items from deceased friends in the home.
During this investigation, both the client and his mother were also present. As CGPS members split into groups, several members were able to hear thumps and what sounded like footsteps during the night as well as the sound of water running in the basement hall bathroom. Upon investigation, the water faucet was off tightly and no water was in the sink. Also, in the “blue” bedroom, CGPS member, Alex Lopez, had his foot yanked off the bed by an unseen force.
Evidence review: has yielded several EVPs to be presented to the client as well as a photo taken on the first set of stairs leading to the basement revealing a shadow figure that moves from right to left going down the second set of stairs. This was taken by CGPS member Cindy Norwood who was standing on the first set of stairs with the basement door closed behind her and the ceiling light in front of her so she could cast no shadow. It is also noted that a large mirror was propped on the landing before the second set of stairs and Cindy’s feet were clearly visible in the before picture, through the shadow and in the after picture.
