Case # 100111: Business, Conyers, Georgia
CGPS members present: Cindy Norwood, Kathy Porter, Laura Clayton and Debbie Bird
Equipment used: IR camera system, digital still cameras, digital audio recorders, EMF gauges and K2 meters.
This is an historic building presently housing an antique store. In the past it has been a wagon repair shop in the late 1800s and during WWII it was a radio repair shop as well as apartments.
Clients experience footsteps in the upstairs hallway when no one is up there and creepy feelings in rooms upstairs. There are reports of a woman dressed in 1800s clothing seen looking out the window at the end of the hallway and a “presence” associated with a doll and a tricycle.
During the investigation the one oddity that occurred was in the shop where the old elevator is. There is a coo-coo clock on the wall that stopped by itself at one point during the night. The client states the clock doesn’t usually do that at all. There are also power lines coming into the building in the corner housing the doll that may contribute to the feelings of creepiness due to high EMF readings in that corner. The clients were advised of possible sensitivity to EMF fields that could cause these feelings.
