Case Log - CGPS
Case #112108: Residential Investigation, Conyers, GA
The client and her family reported hearing voices, feeling the bed being "knocked" into at night and the covers being pulled on. The 9 year-old son reported seeing shadows and hearing his name called out in the living room area. The husband reported hearing footsteps coming up the stairs and believing it to be his son. The client also believed it to be their son, but when they called out his name, he didn't answer. The client believed that her son simply changed his mind and went back downstairs. However, the husband reported seeing a "shadow figure " peek around the corner of the stairway at them then disappear.
The investigators on hand for this investigation included; Kathy Porter, Ken Curley, Laura Clayton, Ben Clayton, Jarrod Persons and Phil Langford.
The equipment used included; hand-held video recorders, digital audio recorders, EMF detectors, digital still cameras and wireless IR cameras. The IR camera was set up in the master bedroom where claims of the bed being moved and covers being tugged were reported. The investigation began at 9 pm and ran until 12 am with teams rotating locations throughout the house including the master bedroom., guest bedroom, child's bedroom, living and kitchen areas and downstairs den area.
Evidence Review: The evidence revealed several EVPs. Two of which seemed to be "sounds" that were not evident to the investigators' ears in real time. The third seemed to be a male voice recorded in the living room that seemed to say "Get Out.". None of the investigators felt any malevolence during the investigation. It is noted that the client and her family never experienced anything negative either.
Conclusion: There is paranormal activity at this residence as evidenced by the EVPs. The client agreed with these findings and will continue to document any activity and contact CGPS as needed.
